G'day Dave,

I recognised your tree from a post you made last year and here is the original thread you started for this tiny ficus - A Mini with Potential
I prefer it in the new antique (doesn't seem right does it - new antique) pot. I see you've changed your flavour of beverage too mate ;)

Looks like there is a fair amount of interest in a shohin section. Now we just have to see if there will be enough tree's posted to meet the challenge set.

Regards,
Steven

Hi,
don't know if this is the little Maple that Noah was referring to or whether it was the 30cm tall one.
Anyway here is the tiny one(photo August 2010)
Out of about a hundred little seedlings, this one that was falling out of the pot with roots exposed, was the only one I kept.
cheers
Dave

Hi Noah,
I know the one you mean.
I pestered her to sell and she finally sold it to me.
Guess what, it had been repotted and cut back prior to my purchase and it died. Never came out of Winter. Broke my heart and I felt bad for my friend who sold it to me as she had the guilts bad over it and offered my money back.
I declined of course as it wasn't her fault
cheers
Dave

WOW !! To all who posted stunning shohin here, my respectfull congratulations!

Thanks, Pat, for the cheers and the little juniper in its new pot. Geez, I gave you a crazy shohin, just as well you put it in a humouristic little pot. Haven't seen any of those before. Must give you a better tree, if/when you come to Canberra next.

Below some basic shohin work.

Lisa

Just a bump, in the cause of shohin.
