Hey pup do you have a timer feature on your camera. I was having the same trouble but then I used a 2 second timer so all hands were off when the shot was taken.

Gday all!

I'm in the process of trying to get a good quality, low profile turntable. Both of the ones I've purchased from IKEA have warped to the point where they are next to useless for such a project. Also, my camera does not have appear to have a remote shutter application, but I have found a program which might allow me to use the computer to capture images without having to touch the camera once the frame is set. In no time I'll be flooding the AB.C staff with 360s of almost all of my trees (hopefully some will be deemed worthy).

laugh.......... really....that's a good news.........i think soon we should start a topic to discuss the techniques involved in 360 photo taking.........seems like every have something to share now....... , lucky i don't need to take photos, just need to collect them..........

I have a turnatable purchased from a $2 shop for $2 LOL
About 10" Dia and 1/2" thick
Black plastic and is awesome to use. Have had it now for about 4 years. It has had heasp o0f abuse and does not look like failing yet.

For really big stuff I have an old Swivel chair Base

Very impressive and a boon when discussing a potensai. We can turn it to find all aspects before choosing a front.

I can see the value and agree it has nothing really to do with changing the normal approach to bonsai with front rear branches etc

Can we rotate vertically across the top of the tree or is this stage 2?

A great tool for communication in forums such as ours.

I have been lucky enough to get a few on this format. Some have generated debate and discussion some not.
I have found that you have, to have like all things Bonsai, related patience. When you succeed it is a nice feeling.

What I have found is when this was first started one of the members,
Akaruhi, made a statement we will now look differently at our trees( not sure if that is the exact words used )

That is exactly what I have found even when I stuff up a session I still have 36 pics that I can look at on slide show.
Then evaluate what is what.

So for that I would sincerely like to thank, gocny and Steven for making it possible, I now look at my trees with more eyes and see the wood Pup
