And here is that setup in my last post after a re-work. I've enclosed it in mylar and added a fogger for some high humidity levels.

I've gotten many aerial roots from one of the setups:

Hey mate! You are a true hard core ficus guy!! :hooray:

I used to live in Atlanta, GA. Don't know what part of VA you are in, but if you ever travel down that way you need to check this place out: http://www.bonsaimonk.com/about.html

It is a Benedictine monastery that raises bonsai, and as I recall they grew predominantly ficus species. Very cool, tranquil visit and you might just find some sweet ficus as well!

I'm in the northern part of VA. I have heard great things about that place, so if I'm down there for any reason that will definitely be on my itinerary. Thanks!

Well, with Fall at our doorstep, I set out to rebuild my indoor setup for the coming winter. It's a big wooden frame, wrapped in plastic, with my lights on top. Humidity is high, and so is the temperature. Should work pretty well.

try to get a few ficus natalensis if you want to see aerial rrots especially in that setup of yours

hey I have a question what humidifier are you using? been looking on ebay cant find anything like it
I like gardening - it's a place where I find myself when I need to lose myself.
