Well Damian, it's good to see that you are going with my advice on clays and firing to stoneware. I have a couple of plans for woodfire kilns which will go to that temperature but it is very hard work using them. Your best bet would be to find a potter to fire your pots for you.

Thanks Penny. Im not afraid of hard work :D I would love to see your plans if you are willing to share them. I am having a really hard time finding a local potter. there is only one that I know of and she is reluctant to answer her phone :palm: Besides this is something that I am taking seriously and will eventually need my own kiln(s) anyway. :cool:

Damian, keep working towards your own kiln, I know from experience how hard it can be to find a potter who is prepared to help with firing work. Mine nears completion after 3yrs in the process, I am so looking forward to seeing some of my work finally fired, I have about 1000hrs worth ready & waiting so its going to be a busy few weeks once it all happens...

Neli, your yard looks great! But I'm scared of your wire rack. Please don't trip over and impale yourself!
