The first meeting of the Native Bonsai Club is on tomorrow night Tuesday September 10th.
This coincided nicely with the Native Bonsai Exhibition at Cranbourne Royal Botanical Gardens yesterday.
There was a nice mix of trees on exhibit with some advanced trees but more importantly some beginners were brave enough to get involved as well.
Lighting was difficult but I managed to get a few photos

Hi Shane,
Number ten from my count from the start is a fig, there were a couple of weeping Grevillea, Acacia Howittii and that's all I can think of.
It was a good show, hope many where able to attend.
Hope to see you all tomorrow night.
Marcela

#10 is acacia howitii (sticky wattle) in a pot from Penny at mudlark pottery.
#40 and #45 are also acacia howitii (#45 is in flower)

I am looking foreward to tomorrow night..... the natives are getting restless.

Heard a new club was starting, just for Australian Natives. So thought I'd better stock up a bit...
