I use 50% crushed granite 40% Akadama 10% Coco peat works for me very well. :D ;)

Thanks Pup I will try that next time I pretty well just followed the 7 aka-3 grit for this fig the other day.
It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.

Ill have the last laugh when Japanese bonsai master Mitsuo Matsuda tells you, you have been doing it all wrong :P :lol:

Hey I just figured if your not talking about the ficus then what are you talking about. You haven't been discussing those natives in our exotic section again have you :roll: :lol:
