And especially one with such an appreciation for great quality pots. The quality of your pots continues to greatness Paul. Might have to have one in my "Lounge Collection" of collectable pots.

Thanks Ken, that was exactly what I was hoping to hear.

I've been trying for quite some time to reproduce that unglazed look that you get with a good quality Japanese pot. The commercial clay bodies I have available in my area are not well suited for this type of presentation.

Here are a few more for your consideration.

Something a bit different, a few free-form pots.

These were made with a rust colored stoneware clay body and finished with a complimentary oxide engobe. Here is one more to consider.
This one is made from a brown stoneware clay body and finished with another oxide engobe.

Any thoughts on these two finishes?

Sorry i havent inputted earlier Paul. I have to say i was not in love with your pots until the tomato reds came up. they are beautiful. I can visualise a healthy, green foliage d juni in them.

You have a good eye. Indeed, I would agree with your tree/pots selection, this is a combination that has been pointed out several times to me.

Do you have some ideas on any of the other pots that you would be will to share? Any native trees maybe?

I love the texture of the first lot of pots, Paul. Actually I love all of them, and I adore the finish on the third set, the dark red ones that have that 'unglazed' look. If you sell them, would you mind letting us know where, when and how much? I have just begun my collection of quality hand-made pots. In the area where we are, all we can get are cheap nasty Bunnings pots, but I have an order from Penny currently in transit.
