Such an ich!!! the frost is falling this week so hopefully shouldn't keep me waiting to much longer. Here's a pic with some colour, stay tuned it should drop soon!

Although I have seen this tree in the bark, I was too busy drooling. I might just bring my sketch pad next time, it can sometimes be difficult to envisage branch structure when you look at photo's. It's difficult to see the trunk movement.

Very nice elm and that virt is very achievable. Can't wait for the pics of the first wiring.

Winter no 2; I have now had this tree 12 months. Slowly and surely. I have removed last years clutter to create cleaner trunk lines. Still another session to go and more clip and grow to be done. DK sorry mate there wasn't much to wire, hopefully some more popping in the right place now that the new carving is done. Repot next month into the same container to keep its growing and training on the move.

With this you do the tree tops are inverted. Should return to the original 40 degrees compared with a rhythm now. Trees will be more balanced trade and blankets.

I really really really like where this one is headed, you have some good options too, Rods virts/plans are very good, it is gonna be a tough decision on which way you want it glad its not me making that decision.

I like your second sketch to man, the only thing i would possibly do is make the lower branches a little wider (i think you ran out of room on the paper )
and widen the rest as per needed. thats just me though, with trees like this I always lean to a wider canopy.

a bit like this sorry bout the size. only one i could find with the canopy like i am describing. the only prob with that idea is the movemnt in the trunk which makes it feel like an informal upright, which i supposed you could do it as an informal upright broom

No prob, any time Josh the pleasure would be mine!

Jimmie you got it all in one mate and that is why the broom needs to be assymetric. Which will happen in the second design and much fuller and wider in real life. Thanks mate.
