Hi Viet , its a one man tree only ,{nobody touchy} the only helpers were the workers and the crane truck in 09 .The pot is the only one i had ,didn't want it in a box for the next year .It need to be bigger for sure , probably make one too suit the trunk . Thanks for the very first pics of this monster, seeing it in the trailer really shows how BIG this is, just awesome. I would have grabbed the big trunk in the top right hand corner of the first pic as well..... Looks like the council waste site could be a good source of trees... must talk to my contact with the local council maintenance crew

Hi Fella's , sad to say the big plums gone away ."I killed it" ,not quite sure how or why but it has a white fungus growing under the base .This is the very same fungus that attacked the Japanese Maple that i layered draining the life out of the layers .Both trees are/were side by side in the garden .Strangely enough the tooth picks used for the root formation were gone ? .The only conclusion i can come up with is the amount of rain and humidity we have had this year contributed to the fungul growth .I have saved the trunk and it now adorns my Brides Kangaroo Paw Garden , she rubbed a little salt into my wound by placing a little Cupid/Angel in the trunk .Life's what happens when your making plans .Cheers Alpineart

I still have to dig my big purple plum, thankfully its a club member so she might be convinced ot let it rest another year now....

Hi Matt , Hit and miss with Yamadori, i guess i missed .I think the fungus done the job , at least that lets me off the hook .

Hi Jamie , I look forward to carving up the cherry , don't have time this season so it can grow on unrestricked .It has a mutilated trunk but i will keep an eye out for the very same fungi that seems to be present around the yard.
