The Juniperus chinensis 'kishu' is one of the greatest examples of the 'Dr Suess' style I've ever seen. .

Thanks for taking the time to do this for us all Watto. It's great to see the display stands too! We don't get to see too many quality stands here in Brissy.

Why are the images sideways?

It’s a very good question but I haven’t asked it myself because I enjoy standing on my head to look at this thread. Yes, many photos are sideways and then when you tilt your phone - the rotate - tricky!!

And back to the trees - what about that Prunus in today’s pictures - I think I have a new favourite! I’ll check it out when I’m not upside down too.

Bonsai teaches me patience.

And nor on my laptop - I have just checked. Only the phone via Tapatalk. How strange!

Thanks again Watto and love that Blackthorn!!

They are on tapatalk but also on tapatalk webview mode which is the same as ausbonsai forum on a web browser.

Not all of them but at least 2 pics in every post are wrong orientation.

All the trees look to be in the correct orientation when I post, and I'm no tech guru so I can't be of any help here. When I go through the whole post they all look to be OK.
Anyway, a couple more.

Yeah same issue here.
All the photos in that most recent post and most in this thread are sideways when just looking on an iPhone using normal web browser safari.

No trouble with my laptop.
Excuse me, dear people, but phones seem to have taken over the role of taking pictures, showing them and accessing them on the web. It seems that "near enough is good enough" when swapping texts and photos, with the least effort possible. :shake:
Well, sorry, but I'm not impressed.

Instead of complaining about the orientation of Watto's photos on this forum (which is perfect), why the #$%&@!!! don't you put your phone in your pocket and use a laptop, a desk top, or a notebook for once? :x

Thanks once more, Watto. I had fun looking at those trees and working out how many came from Japan, where the Yamadori grew, etc. etc. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the show and all that went with it. Bringing back a nice pot?

So long, and best wishes!

Lisa

Steady on. Not everyone has a computer or internet access at their homes.

Pics are fine on the desktop computer but when viewed on the ipad I also get some of the photos sideways so this must be some issue with the way some devices process the data.
We all have different ways of accessing the web Lisa and for many people doubling up on devices would be quite a waste of our scarse resources.
