Thanks Mase, you would not believe some of the bonsai in the DC displays. There were 3 bonsai from the 1600's and 5 from the 1700's. All were very well maintained as you would expect. On a normal weekend they get about 1000 people through looking at the bonsai display. :D

While down the coast on the weekend, we called in to Bonsai at the Bay.

What a great set up and super friendly!

I urge any body heading south of Sydney to go and pay a visit.
Great quality trees, in particular the elms. Fantastic stock.

Thanks for spending some time with us Mason and co you topped of a great weekend. (even in the rain) :D

We will be back.

Aaron.

No worries Aaron lovely to meet you and rach, it was great to get the rain (the simple things keep me satisfied). Thank you again for the compliments, it is lovely to meet other bonsai nuts and chat. I am glad you have started to post on ausbonsai you have a lot to offer the bonsai community. I will be cheeky and show you a couple of photos from the golf green we are building at the front of the property, so next time you come we can putt and chat bonsai at the same time. Mase

Apologies I did not mean to rub it in, but the golf green is the final touches for the nursery at home, so if any customers bring their family that are not into bonsai maybe a putter will keep them entertained.

Now all you need to offer is surfing lessons Although I think I need a fitness instructor more these days  :|
I was looking for your border plant Danica and I took a liking to around the lawn in your front yard. I think I picked some up that are the same from pottery club do you have a name for them?

Gidday Mase laying the artifical turf hopefully this weekend may be putting in 7 days once the holes have set in concrete. Check out the ficus I saw last week, not bad for $3500 if you have the money, stand 1m tall trunk 90cm diameter, I had to take a photo, to show my figs and get them to hurry up.

Franks figs are all port jackson and moreton bays I think. this is a Chinese Ficus impoted about 23 years ago. It is based in Southern Sydney at the moment, somewhere near jannali (i think this is a suburb). Chat soon Mase :)
