Finally got to copy my photos off of the day

The venue was awesome and there was some amazing trees on offer.
there will most definitely be another next year and the consensus was to keep it around the same time

G'day,

A BIG thank you to everyone who came and supported the Market Day. It was great to catch up with old friends and make new ones too. I think everyone agreed that it was not only a successful market but a great social event too. I was very pleased to have sold (or given away) every single one of the 60 odd trees and 50 pots I took along.

At the end of the day the stall holders and I had a debrief with lots of good ideas generated as to how we can make the next Market Day BIGGER and BETTER.
I'd still love more feedback and ideas so please feel free to post your thoughts or send me a PM.

Absolutely great day!
Met lots of ausbonsai people and put faces to names.
Hope it can become an annual event.
True to my prediction we filled the Hyundai, a Ford Territory and a Commodores boot on the day.
Campbelltown need to build better road blocks to stop the dedicated Goulburnians..
Again many thanks for the planning and execution of a wonderful Bonsai event.

It was a great day all!

I will see if I can interest the Canberra Bonsai Society to put on a Bus Trip especially for the day next year.

There was some great stock at good prices I thought.

It was great catching up with all you Goulburnians. You lot sure have a good eye for quality trees. Your packing skills need work though, you could easily get a second level in that iLoad.

As well as people coming from all over NSW we had people come from Queensland, Canberra and Melbourne. You lot sure are dedicated bonsai hunters!!

Grant that sounds like a great idea. We could just swing past your place on the way up to save you the hassle of transporting your trees!

You should be really congratulated on creating a truly new annual bonsai event. The organisation, the detail, so many surprises. A truly great day, it is going to be talked of, for the rest of the year, only to be overtaken by the talk of the next one! Even the very clear road sign "Bonsai" none of that brown cardboard garage sale stuff. Well done!

Whether I will have enough stock to sell by next year is an interesting thought/concept. Love first call on the same table tho' !

Pity I missed it tho !! Only realised there was a sign up when Steven posted a photo of it last night
I turned into the road to the botanical gardens and that is before the sign I had to wander in from the other side of the park to find the pavillion

For those who bought trees here, could you please show updates as you work on them. I sold a few trees that I'm very keen to keep track of, particularly the privet group and small maple forest... much appreciated

I didn't get up there until almost 1pm & there seemed to still be plenty of people around. Would like to have spent more time (& money ), hopefully I can next year. Some very nice trees, pots, etc were available. Excellent stuff. Already started saving for the next one.

Picked up a couple of nice MB figs that I think have some great potential for a great bargain , will post some pics later.

One thing Stephen, can we get some more t-shirts & hoodies done? Nothing in my size or prefferred colour!

Hope to see this each year, would definitely setup a table when I have the stock.
