As promised when I posted my collecting exploits I said I would show some of those that got saved from the Bulldozers.
Here they are.
These trees are currently being brought up to scratch. Pup

They're some awesome Mels! Were they all collected from the same site at the same time? How long ago? What species are they?

Finally, are any of them for sale?

All my trees are for sale its a matter of how much I can get. One of this group is already spoken for. Yes all were collected from the same site. They were collected on the 15th June 2003. The biggest one was a huge clump posted on the IBC .I was never happy so I split it last year I have one other going along nicely the other piece is struggling. When I split and cut off part of the root.I decided to count the rings. I counted for two hours could not get past 97 so now it is 98 just two more to go. Fly I am serious I do have bigger trees that I am finding it hard to handle now. One is from 1995 and one from 2001. Small ones I can handle.

Hey ya little shari . We will be looking for a house sitter. Oh! you bloody well move to often I might not have any thing when we get back.

Nice work. I have long avoided natives because I was told they were too picky about you handled them. Someone has proven that wrong.

Well thats the trouble isn't it, everyone tells you not to waste time with natives they'll just die, but everyone is just repeating the wrong information, in my own case I don't listen to anyone anyway ( just ask the missus ) ... so I went ahead and dug some natives up anyway, no problems.

I took a good look at a lot of Tea Trees today. I think there'll be a few of them moving to a different suburb quite soon. They're in soil that should allow them to be lifted without too much pain and trouble.
