Here are 2 of my green island figs, the smaller one i want to turn into a cascade which will require some trunk bending. The larger one i have no idea what to do with it, doesnt seem to be many green islands around so notsure where to go. Any idea's for either of them?

You could do a shohin tree by cutting above this bud.

Havent touched them yet but every time i look at this guy jerrys idea is what looks best so thats the option i will go with, have just been letting it recover from the original foliage loss and grow back, here it is today

You have 2 lovely shoots there to choose from too when you do chop

Cheers guys, when i give it the chop, how much of the foliage under the cut should i take off or just let it all go for a bit?

Decided to give it the chop this arvo and while i was at it bare rooted it and cut some roots back seeing as there were a couple of dead ones. Should i leave as is for now or remove and reposition some branches while small?
