Just one of my "smaller"figs I thought i would share with you guys. Not what I call a great bonsai but it is interesting and I kind of like this one. What do you think?

First let me start by saying I love it, definetly different (in a good way) One part of my personaility says leave it as is (which is the way I would probably go if i owned it. The twitchy chopper in me says cut the right trunk off just below where it joins to the left slanting trunk, and hey presto two bonsai. I agree with Phill ...... Awsome tree! Its refreshing to see something different everyone gets uptight about a perfect tree that nobody seems to achieve I like this because its unique and still can be recognised as Bonsai. Love it!

I like it! I think I'd be more inclined to maybe cram some soaking wet sphagnum in that gap and get some aerials to form, that way they can start growing then fuse together over time, creating a huge base.

As a total beginner I can understand the purists not loving this tree, but I love the way it looks like it is trying to run away from the pot, or the owner! I say let it be and enjoy its whimsical look.

With a gnarled trunk, this tree could be forgiven for imitating an Ent on the march.
Keep an eye out for those tree killing orcs

You could call it "Astro Boy".

even as a bonsai in the traditional sense, it has validity.
but as a lot of us say if you like it,then thats all that matters
regardless it is a tree on a journey,with you at the wheel
you could leave it as is until you decide later

I would eventually hope to find the perfect rock to squeeze inbetween the 2 trunks and then bury it deep in a training pot

or you could chop it and make 2

Even though it's unconventional, looks like a fun, whimsical tree! I like what you've done with it, especially with the "movement" in the lower trunks.

Nice one BB, I had one of these brought back from a market in Qld for me and it has been alot of fun to muck around with. I started out thinking of a surfer in a tube when styling but Fly pointed out it looked more like a plucked chicken from the back so I took to calling it the surfing turkey.
Last time I posted it over at IBC it was thought of as an Ent just like yours so I thought you might like to see it.
It has not been a vigorous grower for some years so I am disappointed I have not taken the branching further. Recently repottted again it put out some decent growth then trimmed back some but now seems to have stopped growing again
Might give it another trim and a wire and see how it goes for the rest of the season.
