This is my Moreton Bay Fig .. it was taken from a very small bonsai pot defoliated and re-potted into an orchard pot with a mix of gravel and cow manure.

The growth has been quite wild with new leaves/branches from the trunk producing 'huge" leaves while the succulent type branches at the top have produced masses of (at this stage) small leaves. I cannot get a definitive picture of these small leaves but there is over 100 possibly 150 shooting from these branches.

I am going to let it grow on for a while just to see what happens at the top -- broom style .. chimney sweep style ?

Then later maybe a chop and back to a small pot to shut it down well we will see.

The leaves of the MB fig from I have found take a while to reduce in size. The leaves will harden of small at the base of the new branches but as the branch grows so do the leaves. If you tip prune the branches as the start to produce large leaves you will get back budding on that branch.
