Broad-leafed Grevilleas

Anyone growing broadleafed Grevilleas as bonsai? They seem to be surviving my nasty clay subsoil garden quite well, so they pass on the toughness test. And the greyish leaves can be attractive, contrasted with orange or red flowers. These are my two, that I've had for, ooh, about two weeks. No idea how they'll behave. Any ideas?

Good question Gavin
I have had a Orange Marmalade Gravillea for a few months and have been thinking about having a go with it. I would be interested aswell if there is anyone who has done some work with them.

OK Andrew, it's just you and me. I'll be applying Natives for Dummies - free-draining mix, pot just before buds open, cut back to the last two leaves. We'll see what happens. Keep in touch.

Ray Nesci has grown a G gaudichaudi as bonsai. Leaves are large, though divided rather than entire.
Other than that, all the APAB records are for small or narrow-leaved types.

I repotted my marmalade about 2 months ago and it has powered on. At the moment it is in flower so I will start working on it shortly. For now I am just growing it on to get some girth in the trunk.
