Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I could get Kaizen carving tools in Australia or any similar tool that removes large amounts of wood fast.
The carving blade for my grinder is too large for most of my jobs or just won't get in where I need it and while dremel bits are good there are far to slow for major carving. I have watched a number of Kaizen vids and his terrier and termite bits would be wonderful to work with.

I purchased the carving bits directly from their website and it took less than 10 days to arrive, they work great, very happy with them

I may just have to do that too. I was hoping to find something locally and maybe cheaper but looks like I will have to get the real thing.

For great carving tips. Hit u tube and check out Kevin Wilson carving the shari out of some old spanish olives. Type Kevin willson olive bonsai. Or something like that into u tube and watch as he explains which tools to use for carving . He has 3 episodes I forget which one explains about the tools best just watch them all

I have watched most of his vids. This is what has inspired me to chase up the tools he uses. He sells them direct through the Kaizen Bonsai web site, I was just hoping to get them here in Aus. Thanks for your reply.

Will Baddeley posted late last year about a guy named Rudi who makes a similar tool HERE. I bought one and am very happy with it. It is priced about the same in euros as the Kaizen one is in pounds but the exchange rate is much better

kevin uses different tools called from samurai.com

Try Mik International based in adelaide, they may have what you want , a business that deals with everything woodwork based.
