Crepe myrtle

Hi to all,
Just thought I might start a thread for this Crepe myrtle I purchased as general nursery stock 12 months ago.
Open to any tips and advice on my mistakes or sucsess this far

I once had a crepe myrtle like yours with straight sections, it was not a nice thing to look at. I don't know what your after with this tree but my

is to plant it in the open ground for a number of years to gain some weight on the trunk.To take advantage of the features of these trees, ie; peeling bark and flowers, you really need a thicker trunk imo.. If you search [TAFFY]'s posts he has a couple of amazing crepe myrtles with very impressive trunks. But if your after a thinner tree, persist with the way your going .good luck Squizz
