Camellia back-budding

If I want to get good back-budding on my camellia sasanqua, would I prune it back to two leaves now, in March, or in April? I'm in Canberra, so growth slows quite early.
Thanks for your ideas.
Gavin

Hi Gavin if you want to be really safe do it when they are in or just after flowering, camellia shoot back very easily from old wood so you don't need to worry about leaving any foliage.
