Ficus retusa?

Hi all,
this is a small ficus I have had for many years that has been neglected. I have labelled it F.retusa but I am not 100% on its ID. It was one of the 1st trees I attempted to grow as root over rock but it has all but swallowed the rock now.
When I re ignighted the bonsai flame 2 years ago I gathered up all the plants that had managed to survive from my mums place and this was one of them.
I have since thrown it in this shallow round pot and pondered what direction I might take this tree. These are my efforts to date.

Any thoughts are welcome. I think I am slowley starting to get a bit of decent style to a few of my trees.
Cheers

windswept, semi cascade, root over rock. I like it. Would be nice to see another photo once the leaves grow back. It my need a little more hieght in the foliage
but for my taste its certainly heading in the right direction.

Just an update of this little ficus.
It has come back with a bit of growth but it now makes the tree lose its definition. Maybe the design is too small and fine for the tree I am working with here. I will try and reduce some of the internodes and the leaf size but not until next spring/summer.
Cheers

Hi all,
worked on this last week at the school of bonsai.
Gave it a light trim and a new coat of wire with the assistance of Kenn and Clinton.
I like the way its looking and picture it a very flat tree in the future.
Photos to come.

So I got around to cutting the wire off this one last night and re wiring it. I wish it was a different variety as it doesn't seem to multi branch very well( not nearly as well as a port Jackson). Anyway I hope to eventually get some tight growth on it. Thinking a defoliation next summer one else I have a better crown on the tree.
I am happy with the movement in the branches. The tree stands about 200mm high from the top oft he pot.
Happy to hear any thoughts or obvious improvements.
Cheers. Chris.
