This tree is not perfect, nor is it even great. I just worked with what I had, and when it fills out it should be a fairly nice tree, albeit with too many straight bits.
It wasn't previously grown with bonsai in mind, i just found it a local nursery at my home town in Miles nearly two years. I didn't touch it for ages, and then i took it to a workshop for some basic stylng (and i can't find those pictures) and then I worked on it again in January. I have taken several pics of it since then because it is filling out well and i can cut it back again soon.

Still by no means a great tree, but definitely better. Just a bit thin on foliage.
A pic from the 28th Jan with quite a few flower buds. It grows strong enough that I don't bother cutting the buds off as the look and smell beautiful when they open

Again, it's not perfect. The left trunk is too long and straight, the middle/back trunk is too straight, but hey. I like it, and more so I think I can do somethng worthwhile with it. Not to mention I Love these things :P
