It's a beauty, in full working condition. It makes a beautiful mist, small volume but it is great all the same.

I may be showing my age, but I can recall a similar set-up which had a can of MORTEIN that screwed below instead of the water can !!

They had a leather plunger washer inside the draw tube as well.

I also recall having one of those as in the pic................needa ?..............was that the brand ?

Was in metal as well as one in a hard garden friendly lime green plastic.( screamed 1970s ? !!)

The plastic unit had an adjustable nozzle for the spray volume.

Thanks for the memories Damian !!

Paul.

Lovely bit of gear!
I also remember my Grandma? had some of these with the mortein can, or was it the same with a separate bottle of mortein to use the refill the bowl just like this one? Cannot remember now

I have been thinking of these since these were posted so did another search on evilbay and found another one ( unpolished) for sale.

the Auction finished tonight and as I had bid on it, I won :-) :D $6.50 + postage from QLD :-) ( $12:75).

Now when we have the School show, as a Steward, I will have a really cool Sprayer to use instead of just a boring old plastic one
Was talking to my Dad about them the other night and he actually has a newer model, and that one has a Plastic Bottle instead of copper. He is sure he has a copper one as well tho :-)
