following on from reading viewtopic.php?f=7&t=11203 I was wondering if I should do similar with the plum that I got from Bodhiharma.... it has a sacrifice right on the soil line, and I could see it being fairly benificial to allow to grow like the above thread...
do you think this is a good idea? opinions please?
this tree has several years (at least) before it becomes a "bonsai"

Paddles - I vote yes! Because:
1) - I love plums
2) - It is a good bonsai technique
3) - It should improve the trunk/nabari
