Anyone out there know anything about Osmocote (Professional) :lost: Bonsai mix.I was in bunnies today and bought a bag of it to try out, it looks and feels a bit like peat moss. I usually am weary of anything called professional, but have used their other products and they seem to be good, so was wondering whether anybody has used it or not as i have not seen it before,is it new. :?:

Reddog, I bought a bag of this yesterday. Then I read your thread. It's interesting what cuwire has said. Check out your bag.

I don`t know about the bit from bunnings, most of the stuff they sell ends up a landfill in a few months time,  do you mean the bit on the bag (trust it) which I cannot find anyway.

No Reddoggy -- what I was referring to from the website was the very specific usage recommendations ie. use on citrus and do not use on Australian natives etc. I was hoping that this was also on the packet.

Anyway let me add that ..... I genuinely like shopping at Bunnings.

Cheers

Thanks for that cuwire, I was not having a go at you, just needed clarification, I am giving the mix a bit of a trail on a few plants that I can afford to loose if it does not suit. Should be alright there other products work well. :imo:
