Jacaranda root

I've been repotting a big Jacaranda during the weekend, the roots had went through the bottom and anchored in the soil.
When repotting I found a root that made a U-turn and was surfacing off the pot.
I've cut it off and will try to make it grow...

They sucker well so no reason why it should'nt. Although i have tried this with tridents and hawthorn without success. Had good luck with Eleangus pungens though.

Thanks for the feedback Bodhidharma!
I'll post the other updates when it [ hopefully :fc: ] buds some branches.
There's a soil / perlite mixture below.
And a full perlite mix [ 5~8 com ] on the top. I saw some possible roots coming out, and im trying to promote them with the 100% perlite mix.

:)
