Pup Western Australia
This is a Adenanthos wooly bush this tree was given to me by a young man going to South Australia in 2006 he asked me if I would like it.
Well the result is it is a very nice Semi cascade.
It has two viewing angles one left and one right so here they are the accent is an Erimophila spp also a native of WA. The opposite view has a stone from Qld.
It is 180mm high and 300 wide.

Thank you for that comment Luke, I do like it and I am sure the young man who gave it to me those years ago would be happy with what I have done. The difference in colour is the light, the first one has more sun behind the screen than the second.
Cheers Pup

I saw 3 woolly bushes reduced to $5 the other day my quick inspection found soft wood but they were young. Would that be the same with this or different tree. Great work by the way

Stunning Pup. The tree (if i imagine well)could pass for a very ramified Japanese white pine foliage wise. Not a bad pot selection either

Thank you Bhodi, the pot was made by a student from Japan when she was studing in WA she has since returned to Japan. Not sure if she has kept up with her pottery as she has not been in touch with my friend since.
Yes I do like it, and that theory has been put to me before. So it proves once again that we have trees in Australia that compare
Cheers Pup.

Hi ya Jas the common names can be confusing. The tree here is not soft, so the one you saw maybe different. Adenanthos is the Botanical name so if it has that it is one of the many around.
