[ID] Garden shrub

Been lurking for a while, and this is my first post. Going to dig up & pot this neglected shrub from the neighbours garden, but I need help in identifying it. Have searched Google images for hours, but no match for the flowers.
Hope the photos are good enough; taken quickly with the phone in fading afternoon light. Location is suburban Sydney.

thanks in advance,

ps: after previewing, I realised I should have rotated some photos. Sorry.

Looks like Ochna serrulata (Micky Mouse Plant) to me. If it is that, it's a declared noxious weed in most states.
They are not berries, they are new flower buds. The berries are black on a red base.
Could be good for bonsai, I'd be interested if anyone has tried it.

Can be a bit spindly with parallel sided trunks that don't develop taper too easily but very nice flowers and interesting berries :tu:

Thanks for that. After doing a bit of research, I'll see to it that it gets suitably destroyed.
