This was dug up from a vacant property and only had roots coming out 1 side and not to many at that. It was dug up in winter 2011, forgot exact date

Is around 50cm in height
Scared the trunk and covered with rooting hormone, and potted into a 16" pot with standard potting mix and a slow release fert.

This was taken on 5.3.12

I continually cut back the growth as i was trying to achieve root growth.

Now i have strong root growth and some branches im unsure what im going to do with it, any ideas would be appreciated

as a starter I would see whether that separate trunk has its own roots--If so then I would split it off (real potential as a single trunk)--should improve your options with the rest.

Totally agree with Guy. That tallest trunk, in the last pic, would make an awesome single trunk, especially if it can be tilted to the left and make the first branch on the right a short apex and the rest semi-cascade. If you know what I mean.

Well its been a year and have removed the wisteria from the pot to see how many roots i had. :fc:

Unfortunately once removed i found that 1 whole side of the stump was rotten :palm:
So have removed most of the rotten wood and repotted with the rot exposed and hoping maybe to create a semi cascade, but will have to see how it goes. So its back in the pot for another year of growth and hopefully i will stop the rot :fc

Chad hasn't been active on the forum for 8 years, so I doubt you'll get an update
