This little Melaleuca was collected in early October 2011. It too was collected from under powerlines accross a friends block. If you look at the image below you will see the state it was in. Constant mowing had forced it to grow sideways with main branches growing either side. 4 weeks after collection (and against advice) I lifted it again from my garden, cut it in half to make two trees and replanted. Whatever species this is, it is one resilient little bugger.
I would like to airlayer the top half off this season in an attempt to keep this tree a shohin size as well as produce sunstantial taper.

Height: 29cm
Width: 24 cm
