Gday Mr/Ms Slayer!
[1] Do you have a photo of the leaves and/or the pest?
[2] Can you tell us where you are (and fill out your Profile accordingly)? Many of the ills that befall Bonsai are related to the location/climate in which they are located.
Thanks.
FlyBri.

Hi,
Without seeing the damaged leaves, it is hard to say anything accurate. But I would like to share
an experience that I have.
I have an old but very small Port Jackson (no post on this one yet,) last late spring, its leaves
slowly turned brown, sort of from the middle, and then radiated out to the edges.
It was not sun-burnt. When I cut some of them off, most bled fairly strong. That indicated they
were still alive.
I brought the tree into shade, then fed it diluted SuperThrive, and Seasol on alternative Sundays.
At the same times, I slowly from weeks to weeks, cut off the leaves.
I actually put out new leaves starting January 2009 -- now it is fully leaves and in normal conditions
again.
A lot of people keeping Port Jackson on this forum.
Please post pictures.
Best regards.
