Here is a wisteria.... Some might know the back ground story, but for those who dont, here is the quick version....
Last October I was told by a mate at Adelaide zoo that they where removing the wisteria that was donated some 150 years ago. They where going to bulldoze it so I could take what I wanted.
I grabbed a mate (Andrew Ward) and headed down one night an hour before closing. Took a number of hours but we managed to get it out. We didnt realise that all exists are locked from about 7pm and we where stuck in the zoo with a stump that weighed about 4 times my own weight.
After carting it around for awhile I remember one exist at the very front, and we where away.
I think Ill be posting a pic from the day after... and maybe one from the day....
I was thinking about sending in a few images to Bonsai focus for Peter Adams as I cant get to the workshop when he is in Australia.
