sieves - where and how?

Hi all

just wondering where people get their sieves from and are there standard sizes?

I've read across several posts that members seem to use the larger mesh for the top and the smaller for the bottom. they chuck the dust and fine fall through particles and either use or crush further those larger pieces that don't go through the first level? I've got a large bag of diatomite and want to do the right thing with my mix and not have too much fines....

Is this pretty much it? :reading:

Any ideas about costs?

cheers

Stew

Stewart I bought mine from here http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Prospecting- ... 564b522f27
There are other places to buy them but I have found these to be very good

thanks Barry

Anyone else out there get theirs from a retail outlet? Barry's above is around $42 incl. postage.

I bought mine from Mitre 10 for around $30 or $32. Unfortunately, it's a permanent part of the coffee roaster bean cooler. Need to buy another one.
