New pot from Boris

At School tonight I had a few trees to repot, and while preparing, i was admiring some of the pots made by one of the members.
Steven had his eye on ( and purchased 2 ) lovely wood fired round puts which maybe he will post here too
I was half looking at one of the pots, a shallow round tray, to put a buxus I have had for ages into.
Boris Mentioned it was for sale and the price was OK so in went the tree and home with me
I do not have any pics of the tree in it yet ( too dark), but Steven grabbed some of the pot for me
ps. This is the first Pot that Boris has ever sold ( steven has not paid up yet

) so mine must be worth more just for that
Enjoy
Ken

Looks good Ken, nice and textured! I'm thinking Boris will be selling a lot more pots!
Hopefully we'll get to see Stevens haul as well?

I have met and spoken to Boris on several occasions as has Pat.
Boris is very talented and certainly someone who will be worth watching in future (and now). Just a suggestion, tell him to put wire holes in as well as the drainage hole.
Penny.

G'day,
Yes, Boris makes a nice pot or 2. Unfortunately he doesn't get much time to sling mud around so his pots are rare as hens teeth. Hopefully that will change after the interest shown here.
Following are the 2 I scored and his 'chop', 'Rakkan' or signature.

They are magnificent pots, would love to get my hands on some for myself. I also have a buxus that will need potting and the colour of that one of yours would be perfect.
Where do i find him?

I made these pots in a hurry to meet a deadline. Their photos were on my blog the day they came out of the kiln (see:
http://lomov.blogspot.com.au/2012/06/la ... -pots.html). I will try to make more (with wire holes).

Yes, I've just had a quick look at your blog too - very nice pots. Lovely glaze effects, wood fired eh? - I'm jealous.
