Wauchope Annual Show 2012

Wauchope's anual show will be held at Port Panthers, Port Macquarie, on the second weekend of September. The display will include about 50 trees shown in traditional and contemporary styles. The contemporary display is an idea borrowed from Nepean's show; we're looking forward to see what exhibitors come up with.
We will also have a suiseki display, a sales table and continuous demonstrations.
Come and see some of the best trees on the NSW north coast.

We had fun. 52 trees on display, plus suiseki, sales and demos. We had a record crowd in excess of 300 over the weekend. Here are pics of the trees, some of which were displayed contemporarily. The crowd really like the show, and the members enjoyed the extra display freedom.

Thanks for posting.
The privet forest "cave" wouldn't work nearly so well without the figurines - it's a nice use of them, for mine.
And the dissectum forest is just mad. Should be more of it. Magnificent.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for posting the photos of Wauchope show art and originality!

Very enjoyable. My favourite was the "Cliffs" composition. Two of Pat Kennedy's pots included, right? BTW, I was surprised not to see any Liquidambar!
Nice to meet up with you at The Tops. Please give my regards to Jan Briggs.
Best wishes, hope to see you in December some time.
Lisa

Great exhibition and I love the contemporary settings. The divisions on the round tables are a good idea too. Congratulations on such a wonderful display.
Penny.

Greetings,
I like the set-up, and the subtle use of the cardboard background.
Thanks for your help.
Happy bonsai,
Bruce.

The crescent pots were made by Penny Davis, as was the acacia howitii's.
Your Gumball liquid ambers are now beside each other on the entry to my display area. The twins OK good together.
The privet was made by Corinne (ex-Campbeltown). A local artist is now the lucky new owner.
