I love it, small gap between first and second branch on each side but wouldn't be noticeable in foliage.
Again love it, love the aerials...

It looks great Shannon, excellent natural trunk, very pleasing crown shape, nice texture, good pot combo. I think the outer aerial roots hang a teensie bit to far towards the ends of the fine branches on the RHS, but this may be an artefact of seeing it in defoliated view. And one of them is squiggly and the others hang nicely. I can see you have lowered the side branches and I think it works well, though I suppose (based on my own experience with QSL's) that they will need to be re-set periodically to keep them there. I like the rocks too - the help contribute to the 'tree on a hill appearance'. Overall this is my favourite style of bonsai and this one has been well executed.
Would like to see an 'in-leaf' view when they arrive.
cheers
Ash

Hi Shannon, i imagine this is the one that was displayed at the AABC 2009

The new pot definitely uplifts the tree and makes it look more impressive and the tree has come along out of sight. One of the best in Oz i would say.

Hi Shannon,
It is nice to see you posting again (saw you at the AABC convention but unfortunately missed saying hello)
I also missed seeing this tree, I remember it well and like what you have done.

I would really like this at my place!
Nice work
For those of us (such as myself) who have not seen this before, can you please give some history on the tree?
Also, do you have a recent before pic so we can see what you have altered?
Thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Dario.

Cheers guy's!
Thanks Isitangus and Ash for your idea's for improvement.
Thanks for your very kind words Hackimoto, Bodhidharma and Gerard. Yes it is the same tree from AABC 09 and its changed a bit since then.
Dario, I've bought this tree when i was a teenager as ground grown stock and been in training for over 20yrs, its been in and out of the ground foam boxes and pots since.
And I have a few awards for shows its been in.
Below are some pic's:

Amazing tree! And it's great to see the progression shots, this sort of information goes a long way in encouraging people to keep going with their trees.(myself included!)...a great example of what can be achieved.

Fantastic tree Shannon, there really is no substitute for age and years of good training. If it were mine I would but it in a slightly deeper pot but thats just personal aesthetics.
