Acacia melanoxylon on rock

The rock was dug up 9 years ago when we were putting in a new septic system. I first noticed the tree growing in the soil of the crevices a year after. At the time I thought it would not live long. Over the years it has been pruned by wandering deer and wallaby. It has been through a severe drought and my usual mountain weather(wind ,ice ,snow etc). I have never touched it Thought I would show it because I found it interesting.
Cheers Craig

All the above ... fantastic to see how trees like yours can hang on for all their worth in some very hostile environments
