Not long after i go into Bonsai, I was collection everything I could get my hands on and I grabbed a wisteria from my dads when he cu8t it back. It was just a whip but was already rooted so was easy to collect.
Just a stick in a pot really, bt the flowers are nice :-)
I repotted and wired recently to move the first branch to the back and have bent it hard to shorten it and bring back closer to the trunkline. Hopefully this will bring the flowers closer together and look better.

It has flowered just about every year I have had it and it get the same water, Fert and repotting regimen as just about every other tree I have. :D

A nice elegant stick - if you insist on calling it that. Any idea of the age of donor vine?

I have no idea
Mum and Dad have lived there for 25 years, and it was there then. This was just a sucker that came up and I dug out.

Very good to see your Wisteria in flower,i hear and see so many struggle with flowering, your simple flowing design works for this species.Sometimes i think we all over design.....nice work Ken.
