Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone had any Thick trunked serissas. (ie) Trunk is an inch thick or more. I know I am pushing my luck here but if you have one I would love to see it with a close up of the trunk.

I don't think there is anyone who can keep one alive that long.

I have not had that problem and I have several with thick trunks. I find them to be extremely hardy trees and very resistant to pests

G'day Jester,

I know a guy who has about 150 of them in various stages of training. Some have been plaited together to achieve a gnarly look. Most have been grown from cuttings off 4 larger ones which now have pretty substantial trunks. I'll see if I can pop over a take a picture or 2.

Here you go Jester, some to choose from.
Sorry about the quality but I just snapped some quick shots on my phone.
The ones pictured are 3 to 4 years old from cuttings and he would like $15 each for them. Pick up from Parramatta area in NSW.

I agree, Serissa are extremely hardy in my conditions, never had a single one even think about dropping leaves (except the one that went two weeks in mid summer with 40 plus degree heat without any water. Its also planted on a slab. Leaves went crispy and fell off but its now healthier than ever).
