Yes they took all of 10 minutes to put together .

Slip slop slap and they can grow on for a season before they get a work-over .

Establishing the roots on the slab comes first . The other pics didn't work so here they 2 are with one 1 produced for our club project.

Hi VS , mate i should have taken time out to clean the old mud out of the root mass to show off the gnarled sections , but over time all will be exposed , plus i didn't want to blast the moss of the old roots .I will have ti clean them with a pressure bottle and fine rake or chop stick later on .

Its good that you appreciate the little things like moss lol im guilty of it as well. Something about your work that reminds me of Robert steven's, its rubbing off i really dig turtle backs, forests and rafts alot more now. Very chinese feel to them or maybe thats how i perceive it but im definitely going to have to try one in the near future
Keep the pics and updates coming mate.

Hi anthonyW , Mate it certainly is healthy . The tray is around 650mm and its heavy enough with minimum mix , i think a plain Jane tray is needed nothing flash or it will take away from the setting . A 750mm slab would be nice , might have to look into making one to suit .
