More Spring at Shibui Bonsai

I note that in most places the seasons are well ahead of mine. I still have new trees leafing out each week and flowering species still just opening.
These pictures taken 22-9-12.
Japanese maples in order from smaller to larger

The Chinese elms are leafing out as well. this time from larger to smaller.

Also excited that a wisteria will finally flower this year :fc: First flower of the first raceme opened yesterday but I will wait until it is a bit more advanced before posting.

My favourite is the "free and wild" one in the 4th photo.
How about some of yoour root-over-rock trees? Mine (grown by you) has been in leaf for over a week.

Nice show Neal, the fourth palmatum is a lesson in taper and ramification. You've made it look natural, and easy. Lovely tree.
