G'day all, here's my bench i built. Started it a few months ago but i did something silly at a mates 22nd and snapped some bits in my knee, so i only finished this yesterday. It's all old weathered hardwood posts set into concrete piers, 50mm SHS bearers & weathered HW tongue and groove boards. We had all the materials lying around except for the cuphead's and screws. It's 2.1x1.8m along the back, bench width is 600 and 2.1m to the top of the rafters. I'll be putting shadecloth up once we get into summer. Cheers

Great work!!! :tu:

I think your sizing is excellent as my benches are 600mm deep and the fit 2 foam boxes nicely.

Only problem is you will have to start building another one shortly as I found my benches filled up as fast as I could put them up!!

Nice job Mr skool.

My only feedback other than you have done a great job is that you should have made it twice the size  I'm currently looking into ways to extend my benches.

Regards,
Steven

thanks guys, bigger would've been better but that was all the RHS we had. I have a plan for when the time comes to extend :P

Hi old_skool , top job , now if that wire panel fence was mine i would turn it horizontal and that would certainly increase the bench space . Those mesh panels make great bonsai racks .

Cheers Alpine
