Abelia for Bonsai

I noticed the Glossy Abelia has quite a few suckers so I grabbed up a couple large ones for bonsai. I tried seaching Ausbonsai but found nothing on them so I googled "Abelia Bonsai" and found this http://forums2.gardenweb.com/forums/bon ... 030032.jpg It looks quite nice and now I've got two more "stumps" as Handy Mick calls them 
Anyway I'm gonna give them a try. I got quite a few "stumps" now but I gotta start somewhere

. Did you know there wasn't a single post about abelia on ausbonsai, so maybe if someone has one and see this they can share what they know about keeping them as bonsai and share a few photos too, thanks mick for letting me know the link didn't work
