I have fought a long battle to save a JBP that has deteriorated to the point of near death. Found this critter on it last night, and found some more on a Xanthorrhoea. I have a garden sapling Gum that is being eaten from both inside and outside the wood that I suspect is the origin. Any clues at to what this is.
About 10-15mm
Thanks Soda

Can ship a few downif you like,

we have millions of them in Sydney, but I cannot say I have lost any trees with them, curl grubs are another story. I personally would look for another reason, but I stand to be corrected,as I learn something every day.
