Went shopping on the weekend and picked up this boxwood for $10 !!
Even though th tree is really rootbound it looked like there could be a nice triple trunk or twing trunk maybe in it.
Anyway i got it out of the pot today and lightly combed out the roots then planted it straight into a raised garden bed that gets some sun and a fair bit of shade so hopefully the leaves will green up a bit. Just going to leave it there for a year and keep it well fed :D
Sorry about bad quality pics took them with my ipod

Yeah, really hard to make it out. It takes a while to develop good camera skills. You will need them later though when your trees start to look the goods. Japanese box make good subjects.

That tree is in major need of some tlc.... slip it into a larger pot with a good aggregate in the potting mix and then give it some food and water till it regains its health before doing any major work on it. Probably been root bound in that pot for a while with lack of adequate feeding also.
