Sumo Shohin Willow Leaf Ficus

Hey all,



Bought this little tree back in August of 2011 from eBay. The bark really intrigued me, never seen a Willow Leaf with striped bark like that. Here's how it looked upon arrival:

I'm basically just shooting for an upright tree, and am letting that leader grow out and thicken as much as possible, which is taking quite a while. I'll get some better pictures up later. Comments are always welcome.

Looking really cool mate !!! you just need to run a sacrafice at the base of the new leader so it thickens up and marry's to your trunk, alternatively just let the top of the tree run... :tu: :tu: :tu:

Thanks Antonio! I'd love a branch to sprout around that area, but I have yet to get one. That'd be very nice.
