Hey all,

Here's a few pics of a 'lavender star', I bought around January 2010. This is one of my favourite trees, it has heaps of flowers around this time. I have posted pics of this tree before and listened to other users advice...this is where its at.

Awesome job and a credit to your work and the advise given to this point.

My focus now starts to look towards the nebari as this is where I think the tree can obtain it's next round of improvements.
On this note...
What happened to the Nebari?
There is a reasonably strong base and flare from the time of purchase - this seems to be gone in the more recent pics?

I think some of the surface roots dried out, or may have been repotted below the soil surface. I may have to remove the large root at the base and start new nebari with smaller roots. I will see if it is possible to raise the tree higher to expose more roots next repot.

Here's a few more pictures of this tree a few days ago. Was not sure where to go from here so just did some pruning.
