Withdrawn entry from Shohin comp

This is a progression of a Tanaki juniper I had originally entered into the Shohin comp in 2011. Unfortunately my first effort failed due to the size of the material and so I withdraw my entry.
It was a shame to waste such a nice piece of wood so I found a much younger specimen and the last pic is the result so far.
