Basic wiring done! Time to introduce him

Carving is old as anything, but the growth has been good so wired some basic structure into this one today. Hoping for some major buds for the crown and to dill out the pads over time .



Also reduced about a quarter from its height, just looked too tall.

Hi Moganic , nice little olive , got to get into mine very soon . Never contemplated a shohin olive , have a few small trunks so i may just take a lead from this post and have a go . Gotta start making a few smaller trainers anyway , things getting too heavy too quick around here and with so many shohin and mame pots that have never been used , i had better start putting something in them other than cob websand dust . Thanks for posting .

Nice olive and interesting carving. It will be interesting to watch its development.
This is my shohin olive which is 18cm tall. This is my other olive with the shohin. Happy New Year everyone
