Hey hey hey!!

When I origjnally purchased my greenhouse I had gotten a bit ahead of myself... I.e. I realised I didnt need it!

So I dismantled it, added some shade cloth and bracing rope and finally some old irrigation pipe i had just laying around and voila!

The wire bench is great because my cats dont climb it at all :-)

Comments welcome and if you know of a way I can improve this set up let me know!!

Nice Work Mo

What a great set up, should keep your trees happy and healthy

Just be careful if you poison the weeds under it as it is in a breeze way made up of your house and the fence sometime the poison can swirl up and onto your trees, I have seen several thousand dollars of trees lost this way, one pine was worth about 5k

Thank you nathan!!

And thanks for the warning!! Im actually letting that stuff grow to keep the radiant heat under my trees at bay during the summer!! But excellent advice for later in the year when they become a nuisance haha

Hey Mo, great reutalisation of resources!

A word of caution though, from experience, that type of greenhouse shelving have a few weaknesses; the plastic joiners go brittle fairly quick given sun/water exposure after which they will crack and brake upon disturbance; and any bottom tubing tend to collect water and rust though quicker than one may expect ... just saying keep an eye on it, as it may need extra bracing to support heavier pots long term (only designed to carry small plastic pots)...

Good luck though, hope yours lasts longer than mine did!

Mm... Thats got me thinking haha.

Will have to keep two eyes on those joiners! Might cover them in plumbers glue!!
